Invited by Adnan Softić, artists from Germany, the USA and Bosnia and Herzegovina are realising various projects that are to gather for a joint exhibition custom-made for the unique characteristics of Hamburg's Veddel district.
Mentally as well as spatially, Veddel seems to be cut off from the neighbouring city centre. The Veddel has always been the starting point for the search for a new, better life. In the meantime, it has itself become a multicultural city of arrival. This reality is reflected in the artists' works and make Veddel itself the venue for artistic positions.
