WORKSHOPS
The modular workshop format combines sound work, performance, and contemplative practices. It is conceived as a temporary social network: situational spaces of encounter that encourage individual questions and the development of personal forms of expression. These workshops foster co-creative processes and open connections between people in unusual geographical, social, and disciplinary configurations. Theoretically, the approach can be situated at the intersection of acoustic ecology, Expanded Listening, and aesthetics of interruption—understood as practices that heighten perception, make ruptures productive, and render ecological-political conditions perceptible.
In this context, Klimaton can be understood as practising remote senses: an aesthetic-ecological practice that pauses at the fragmented transitions between near and far, local and global—at points where perception and knowledge do not seamlessly converge, yet must still be considered together.
